As we head towards mid term and Hallowe’en we look forward to a number of events in the area.

Spirit of Meath -17/10 to 03/11

Celebrating its sixth year this October, the rising Spirits of Meath Halloween festival has quickly become a Meath festivals highlight. The festival itself is actually a grouping of smaller events with the pick of the nearby ones below. For a full list of events click here.




Samhain Music Festival at Loughcrew Gardens

Following last years SOLD OUT event, this Bank Holiday Sunday October 26th sees the return of Samhain Festival with another incredible line up including the final Irish date for Jon Hopkins ‘Immunity’ tour, the return of renowned and adored John Talabot, electronic-music’s brightest rising star Maya Jane Coles, pioneering Berlin-based duo Booka Shade (Live), the exceptionally talented Detroit vet Jimmy Edgar and more acts to be announced at the breathtaking new location – Loughcrew Gardens, Oldcastle, Co, Meath

The Traditional Torchlit Procession – Hill of Tlachtga

15th Samhain walk to Tlachtga, will be led for the 1st time by a pipe troop from America.
There will be a fire on the hill as you listen to the life of Tlachtga.

House of Horrors at Tayto Park

The House of Horrors is a terrifying and spine-chilling experience guaranteed to be the craziest and scariest sights around Halloween. Are you brave enough to walk through the rooms?
